Pakistani politician confuses GTA V with real terrorist attack
It’s been a while since state-of-the-art console and computer graphics have been fooling the unwary – remember the time the Russian government used an Android game image to accuse the United States of partnering with ISIS? Now one more such case has been filed in Pakistan, according to Eurogamer.
Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, secretary general of Pakistan Awami Tehreek political party, used his Twitter account to congratulate a plane pilot on preventing a tragedy by successfully dodging a tanker truck during his landing. It turns out these scenes came straight from Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V), Rockstar Games’ famous game.

Well, just take a look at the politician’s microblog to see that he removed this post. With the evolution of the look in the next generation and the arrival of GTA VI, it’s quite possible that episodes like this happen again.
